Unique Slow Rise Bakery & Cafe will have two locations operating during Summer 2026 - our original Klahanie Campground location and our new and permanent location in Downtown Squamish on 2nd Avenue.
Klahanie Campground
Nestled by Shannon Falls, Klahanie Campground is where our story began: an outdoor café known for serving Hong Kong comfort food amid breathtaking nature. Picture steaming dim sum, savory rice bowls and fresh Asian baked goods enjoyed with the roar of the falls and mountain air. This takeout‑first spot features a small patio for guests to savor their food outdoors. We plan to have this space open until Sept 30th so make sure you come check it out one last time!
Note: there are no on‑site washrooms (closest facilities at Shannon Falls Provincial Park), limited shared parking with the campground, and campground access requires a separate booking — we ask guests to please limit patio stays to about 30 minutes.

Our new permanent home on 2nd Avenue elevates everything you loved about our outdoor café into a full café experience. Longer hours, warm indoor seating, and clean washrooms create the perfect place to connect. With upgraded equipment and an expanded menu, expect the same beloved Hong Kong‑style dim sum, rice bowls, and Asian baked goods — now served with refined technique and café-style presentation. It’s where the comfort of a neighbourhood café meets the bold flavors that put us on the map.
Note: street parking only. We suggest you find parking along 2nd Ave, 3rd Ave, Cleveland Ave, or surrounding parking lots - there are 3 within a 5 minute walk.
